Santa Pola Life Resort is a lifestyle resort designed for people over 55 looking for a healthy, stress-free retirement within a secure community.
Located just four miles south of Alicante Airport, near the attractive small seaside town of Santa Pola, the development is a gated community offering a range of apartments and bungalows.

WHAT YOU ARE BUYING AT SANTA POLA
Properties are sold as a "personal easement". This is the right to live in the property in perpetuity.
Anyone can purchase a property but residency is restricted to people aged 55 or over. This does not preclude short visits by people under 55 such as family and friends.
The personal easement, like a freehold, can be sold on at any time - or passed on as an inheritance. The inheritor can sell or rent the property (but only live in it if over 55) or sell/rent it to someone over 55.
Contracts have been checked for WPML by local independent Spanish solicitor Isabel Hernandez of Novalegal Abogados (lawyers) in Santa Pola. She confirms that everything in the Sales Contract is in order. Contracts include all the main clauses necessary under Spanish law.
THE LOCALITY
Santa Pola Life Resort is not remote but is situated in a residential area with all day-to-day amenities within a short walk.
About a mile away is another major retail mall with supermarket, bank, shops, restaurants, bars etc.
The attractive town of Santa Pola is about two miles away and can be reached by SPLR mini-bus, local bus or car via the main road or via the beach road which runs along the coast through delightful pine woods.
Santa Pola has a long beachside promenade, a pretty marina, and is a working fishing port, a fact reflected in excellent local fish restaurants.
It has an attractive town centre, castle and main square which is lively with locals at night.
Further afield, about eight miles away, accessible by mini-bus, local bus, or car, is the medieval town of Elche with its botanical gardens and excellent shopping.
The city of Alicante is lively and about 10 miles away. It has a wide range of facilities, including major shopping, a superb promenade and a medieval castle.
PURCHASE COSTS AND TIMINGS
When you are sure you wish to buy at Santa Pola Life Resort, the purchase schedule and tmings are as follows:
- Stage 1 - on reservation, a non-refundable Reservation Fee of 1000 Euros secures the property at the agreed price for 30 days to llow the purchaser to study the Sales Contract, instruct a solicitor etc.
- Stage 2 - after 30 days, when the Sales Contract is signed, 15% of the purchase price, less the Reservation Free (plus Spanish IVA tax of 7%) is payable.
- Stage 3 - 30 days later a further 15% (plus IVA) is payable.
- Stage 4 - upon completion and handing over of the keys, the balance of 70% (plus IVA) is payable.
